Home Based Care

The HIV epidemic is currently the leading of death in Africa. The local community in Kenya still do believe that the virus is caused as a result of breaking taboos. Many people infected still do not know how to prevent infection, and even very few people know how to deal with the virus once they have it.

Due to poverty syndrome that has escalated the nation, people often avoid attending health facilities because they don't have something to pay from their own pockets and because of this reason, most of the people encounter premature death as a result of depression and inability to take care of themselves.
